Educating young people and providing them with an optimistic, purpose-driven worldview is one of our highest priorities at Human Energy. We are actively developing new partnerships, initiatives, and projects for K-12 classes in public and private schools as well as for youth-serving organizations.
CURRENT PROJECTS
Curriculum Crosswalks: Mapping the Noosphere onto K-12 Curriculum
This project maps the noosphere onto the K-12 curriculum in the U.S., creating crosswalks between nationally normed standards and resources on the noosphere produced by Human Energy. It identifies where the noosphere is explicitly or implicitly present in the standards and where it might be expanded, developed or added. Phase 1 involves mapping the noosphere onto the
Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Future phases will create maps for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Foreign Languages.
The project is led by educational scholars Professors
Emily DeMoor and
Michelle Haj Broussard.
We are currently recruiting science teachers at all grade levels to participate in 2024 and 2025 science and engineering pilot projects with our Curriculum Crosswalk. Participants will be compensated. Contact us at
